This position interacts in a service/technical capacity with customers and their consultants to explain energy use in a range of end use applications. This position is the primary contact for customers (other than the annually identified strategic accounts) with annual kwh generally of 3.5 million and below. The service function will apply to all customers without regard to electrical usage. This position is accountable for the successful delivery of service to assigned customer segments. Activities require independent initiative, ingenuity, versatility, and judgment in connection with the promotion and development of NSTAR’s electric services.

The incumbent is accountable for receiving, resolving or directing resolution of inquiries on existing accounts (i.e. billing amount, date, rate, etc.) for the defined customer segment.

The incumbent is accountable for supporting account executives in the creation, coordination, and work cycle management of work orders for defined customer segments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The incumbent must possess the following minimum qualifications:

1. EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited educational institution.

2. EXPERIENCE: Two through five years of proven experience and working knowledge of electro-technologies and end use applications with a broad range of residential, commercial and industrial customers.

3. Must possess or have access to a personal vehicle and be able and willing to procure a Massachusetts license to operate a motor vehicle.

4. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: Customer Focus, Self Control, Results Orientation, Flexibility, and Initiative.
