Job Description:

Qualified candidates will be able to ensure the billing process is performed in an accurate and timely manner. Customer Service Representatives interact with customers over the phone, resolving their issues and leaving them with a positive impression of CEVA. Uses various computer programs to research customer issues. At times goes out on the floor to research and resolve issues with product in the warehouse. Maintain positive partnerships with peers, the management team, and Verizon points of contact in order to use their partnership to resolve customer issues.

Essential Functions:
  • Taking calls from downstream customers such as technicians and Verizon's "Garage" storerooms where technicians pick up their product
  • Taking calls from upstream customers such as Verizon buyers, merchandise planners, and transportation coordinators
  • Taking calls from Carriers and other outside agencies
  • Resolving issues for all of the above, using all resources available. Use WM and other computer programs to research issues with product in the warehouse, locate product, resolve issues with product, and pass on requested information about the product to the customer. Partner with peers, the CEVA management team, and Verizon representatives within and outside of the building when needed to resolve an issue
  • Gaining and maintaining familiarity with all aspects of our operation in order to accomplish the above. Know how freight both systematically and physically moves through the warehouse, and who is responsible for what tasks
  • Becoming proficient on the following computer programs
  • Vision Inquiry
  • WM Inquiry
  • VACP (Verizon's Vendor and Carrier Performance System) Entry and Follow-up, Management of Queue
  • RMA (Verizon's Returns Management System)
  • Assisting the QM with other duties relating to quality management
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Competencies:
  • Strong organizational, follow-up and interpersonal/communication skills
  • Flexible. Able to work hours as dictated by the situation and willing to expand duties as situation dictates
  • Good attendance, safety, and quality record
  • Self starter, able to execute duties with minimum supervision
  • Computer literate; knowledge of warehouse management system, Excel and Word software

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High school graduate or GED. Experience in shipping or receiving
