Job Summary and Mission

Oversees all aspects of high volume accounts relating to the transportation of goods and the maintenance of the client's needs. Work with clients to establish detailed profiles and procedures that properly represent their export process. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Trace and track customer's freight.

Maintain contact with the airlines, trucking companies, and any agents that will be handling the freight to ensure shipper and consignee are aware of any problems.

Provide proof of delivery.

Responsible for taking pick-up requests and entering data in the system.

Respond to and handle all daily customer service requests.

Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points.

Enter shipment data in system.

Run, maintain, and file reports.

Prepare rates, invoices and House Air Way Bills.

Prepare and assist with quotes for customers.

Qualifications

Summary of Experience and Education

High school Diploma or GED required.

Minimum 6 years related experience.

Minimum three years industry experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. or international currency, weight, volume and distance measurements.

Manages complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally meeting commitments for service and assistance.

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Read, analyze and interpret highly complex regulations and procedures, and respond to common inquiries or complaints.

Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers and employees.

Analyzes complex problems and develops alternative solutions.

Contributes to building a positive team spirit and puts success of team above own interests.

Consistently at work and on time.

Able to maintain effective communication at all times.
