Our experience has made us experts in local, intrastate, national and international relocations. We enjoy great success in handling household, electronics, antique and trade show products with confidence. We take pride in having journeymen packers and craters to properly prepare your goods for a safe and secure delivery.

We have approximately 75,000 square feet of secure storage space. Within this facility, we have a records management unit. Our services in this area include record storage, pick-up, delivery, filing and disposal.

As you can see, we are a full service moving and storage company. Our goal is to serve all of our customers' relocation needs.

Where have we been?

Our company, like anything well refined, has evolved slowly through trial and error. We began as a used furniture store in the 1940's. Because customers required an increasing need for pick-up and delivery, we evolved into Acme Moving & Storage. From here our company continued to grow in reaction to our customers' needs. This philosophy has earned us a great deal of trust with families throughout the Bay Area. We have actually moved a grandfather, father and a son. This type of decade-to-decade loyalty is typical of our customer base. The Wolfe family, who has been running the company for over a half-century, is well respected and established in the community, which virtually guarantees our continued pride in our service level. Currently we are AMS Relocation Inc. Through all the growth and changes, we have been very successful at retaining our employees. Some have been with the Bekins system for 20-30 years.

Where are we going?

Our plans for the future are quite simple. We will continue to listen to our customers for ideas and suggestions on how we can continue to expand our service to meet their needs.

Our management philosophy will continue to stress the importance of our employees. Our team can only be as strong as our weakest member. We will continue to support and motivate each and every individual in our organization.

Job Description

Key duties include answering inbound phone calls, identifying the needs of the customer and educating them about our services; scheduling appointments; coordinating the flow of work between departments. The fast pace and high energy environment requires multitasking and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

3-5 years customer service experience

Demonstrate excellent phone and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PC OPS

Well organized, resourceful and highly detail oriented

Able to work effectively with a team

Highly motivated, personable and professional
