Customer Service Representative
Job Description

Title: Customer Service Representative

Reports To: Vice President of Marketing and Channel Managment – Office Products

Responsible for providing customer service to national office product customer base, inclusive of answering customer and sale representative phone calls, reviewing and entering product orders, and providing ongoing customer support. Processes orders using internal systems to review pricing and inventory and allocate orders for shipment. Provides receptionist duties for office and directs incoming calls to appropriate personnel. Conducts inside sales activity to drive sales growth to existing and new customers via add on sales, up-selling, promotional activity and cold calling. Researches and assists in reconciling billing issues and miss-applied payments. Processes warranty claims and maintains warranty log. In addition to these typical duties, may perform other duties as assigned and required.
Minimum Ability, Skill, and Knowledge Requirements

¨ 3+ years of customer service and inside sales experience working with a national customer base.
¨ Experience working within Microsoft Dynamics GP and SalesPad a strong plus.
¨ Exceptional relationship building skills.
¨ Must possess exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
¨ Must be an incredibly passionate, highly motivated, flexible team contributor who can thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment.
¨ Desire to continually elevate your performance and the performance of the organization as a matter of pride.
¨ Dedicated to exceeding both external and internal customer expectations by going beyond what is expected of you.
¨ Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
¨ Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. when necessary.

¨ Ability to work legally in the United States.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. However, this position does provide guidance to staff members and outside national sales representative agencies.

Education/Previous Experience

Bachelor’s degree from 4 year College or University or relevant professional experience.

This position is located in East Greenwich, RI. Employees must adhere to Amax Incorporated policies and procedures. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Willingness and ability to work non-standard business hours such as nights and weekends on an as-needed basis is required.
