Provide customer order support, information to internal and external customers, including assisting field operations in the resolution of challenging order issues, reviewing
and processing warranty claims, and preparing RMA’s for field returns and assist with warranty claim process to customers. Assist Technical Support
Representative with technical information to customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Order Administration (50%) – Enter incoming sales orders. Maintain/edit sales orders as needed once entered. Provide regular updates to customers regarding
orders, including delivery dates and/or any changes in the status of the order.
Customer Service (30%) –
Review aftermarket feedback on product parts interpretation and operational issues. Forward feedback to appropriate departments/authorities/divisions and initiate corrective actions to bring these issues to prompt, satisfactory resolution. Liaise
with technical support engineers at Airpower to expedite the timely and appropriate resolution of service issues.
Warranty Claims and Part Returns (20%)
- Review and process warranty claims for the designated product line. Review and process material authorizations that is returned to the regional office as needed.
Perform assigned duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer. Take whatever action is appropriate
and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
3-5 years of customer support service experience maintaining and supporting customer orders for compressed air equipment (Atlas Copco and other). Demonstrated expertise in customer contact and communication. of a wide variety of Pneumatech and Chicago Pneumatic
Compressors. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with an understanding of mechanical systems.
2-year Mechanical Engineering degree, or 3-5 years of relevant experience .
