Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hour
Primary Purpose of Position:
The Customer Service Representative provides the first
line of sales and customer service contact for the
customers of the company. Position is responsible for
the sale of distributed parts and services to all
customers in all market segments. Deals daily with
customers via phone, fax, and email, electronic data
interface and in person. Complies with all polices of
the company and the department.
•Processes orders and closes sales.
•Prepares and delivers customer quotations.
•Participates in sales promotions as outlined by sales
management. Makes the assigned number of proactive calls
on promotions with an acceptable conversion rate.
•Utilizes the Aviall Sales Process to increase sales and
•Keeps Sales management apprised of any recognized
trends, problems or opportunities.
•Expedites customer backorders and keeps then abreast of
•Process Cores and Warranties.
•Researches technical inquiries and communicates
appropriate information to the customer.
•Collaborates with other company employees to provide
the customer with the most accurate and quick responses
•Updates CSC manuals and sales materials on a regular
•Run and use required reports in Lawson and other
systems as to better deliver high quality customer
•Communicates updated customer information to all
•Writes and works Non Conforming Process notifications
(NCP) when appropriate.
Education: H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: 3 years inside sales or customer service
Skills: Basic PC Skills, Good Communication Skills
Education: College Degree in Business or Aviation;
College Level Courses
Experience: 3 years sales, customer service, warehouse
or maintenance experience in the aerospace/aircraft
parts sales, distribution and/or mfg. Industry
Certifications: A&P Certification and/or Private Pilot's
