Customer Service Representative work activities involve the following tasks: Receives complaints from utility customers; researches records, requests for water line and water meter inspection and adjusts billings when appropriate; writes service orders for meter maintenance or replacement according to alleged malfunctions; writes replies to utility customers in response to water or sewer service inquiries; coordinates with local commercial utility companies and banking institutions in researching addresses of delinquent account customers and in verifying validity of checks; files inspection documents, correspondence and other items. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications:
1). Demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.

2). Three (3) years increasingly responsible experience in utility collections office
plus extensive knowledge of collection office policies and procedures and some
knowledge of water and sewer system workings.

3). Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships' verbal facility to deal with
people at all levels; ability to plan and execute approved work programs. Attention
to detail to avoid errors/ tact and diplomacy.
