Position Title & Dept. Customer Service Representative -
Dept: Customer Service Dept.
Wages: $13.82 hour
Hours: Hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm,
Schedule: Monday thru Friday and overtime when required.
Duties & Job Function:
Process customer orders received via fax, phone and e-mail in a timely and efficient manner
Computer literate but will be trained on the AS400. Ability to communicate well both internally and externally
Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance and direction as needed in a prompt manner
Be a Team player: Work with transportation to maximize loads and correct issues as necessary
Work with customers to obtain proper lead time of orders and correct ordering patterns
Will also work as needed with sales, credit and various warehouse departments
Excellent communication skills with English language, including reading and writing
Ability to work independently, under pressure, while meeting deadlines
Ability to work well with people and across departments. Ability to analyze and solve problems
Will provide vacation relief for various positions in Customer Service department.
Ability to be productive in a high volume/high stress environment
Ability to multi task and prioritize. Be a self- starter with a "can do" attitude and a pleasant personality
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Prior general office experience desired.
