Basic Job Purpose: Respond to borrower telephone inquiries regarding general student loan issues/questions, handle both incoming and outgoing calls regarding delinquent loan payments, perform collection efforts on delinquent accounts, and perform procedures to locate borrowers with bad phone numbers and addresses.
Education: High school diploma.
Experience: One year of customer service experience.
Training: Successful completion of OJT.
Skills: Strong oral communication, customer service orientation, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, intermediate math, attention to detail, PC skills, keyboard dexterity.
Physical Activities/Working Conditions:
Full time sitting, keyboard and mouse work, telephone work with headset.
