Customer Service Representative – Exton, PA
Pall is looking for a Customer Service Representative who can perform all duties regarding Pall Industrial customer sales orders. The Customer Service Representative will work closely with Pall Industrial Sales and Engineering Departments to achieve customer satisfaction and assist the Customer Service Supervisor – Industrial as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for Pall Industrial customer inquiry with the exception of technical information or assistance.
Responsible for research, verification, and documentation of Industrial sales orders.
Responsible for write-up and computer input of Industrial sales orders.
Refer customers, when applicable, to a specific individual or department depending on request.
Interact with manufacturing sites to obtain accurate lead times and transfer pricing and to coordinate product shipment.
Provide assistance to Industrial Sales for obtaining customer account information.
Maintain excellent communication with customer and, when appropriate, act as liaison between sales and customer.
Release all orders to warehouse;
Maintain customer complaint system;
Computer purchase orders, as necessary;
Provide product certifications to customers;
Provide assistance to other distributors;
Maintain blanket orders and call release orders;
Set up “bill only” invoices.
Perform other safe, legal, ethical duties essential to achieving the business or operational goals.
BA degree or equivalent relevant experience.
2+ years of customer service experience including effective customer relationship management, detailed data entry, customer service procedures, operations, tracking and follow up.
Demonstrated experience in cross functional working with sales, manufacturing, shipping, engineering, distributors and accounting across multiple geographical locations.
Proven experience composing effective customer correspondence, verbal customer communications, establishing priorities, maintaining data integrity, identification of customer issues, problem solving and follow up.
