Act as the prime customer and sales team interface with PWPS-San Antonio for all IGT products. Coordinate customer requirements with the production & management team to ensure alignment throughout the repair process. Communicate to customers and/or the sales team members frequently to provide accurate status updates on customer jobs. Aggressively monitor jobs to ensure on time delivery to customer need. Develop and maintain a strong working relationship between the PWPS sales and operations teams to ensure alignment of objectives and customer expectations. Provide overall production scheduling. Continuously improve scheduling and forecasting tools to better manage IGT repair throughput. Manage the IGT repair induction schedule in coordination with the sales team and customer requirements.
Develop pricing estimates and provide timely response to customer/sales team needs for Request For Quotes (RFQ's). Review historical data (cost, TAT, customer satisfaction) on prior jobs against current RFQ's to assess performance against goals and identify improvement opportunities.
Author customer reports for Strip & Inspect and Final Repair reports as well as New Parts Reports for new product sales.
High school diploma or GED is required. Undergraduate degree in engineering or related applicable field is desirable. Knowledge of SAP , MS Office, Adobe acrobat
Excellent leadership, analytical and multi-tasking skills required. Position requires the ability to interpret technical data including P&W technical publications and specifications. A familiarity with Customer Maintenance Plans, Work-scope Documents, Purchase Orders, etc is required. A general working knowledge of the IGT customers and industry as well as the repair/refurbishment operations involved in returning hot gas path components to serviceable condition is required. Ability to work with all levels of management and shop personnel, as well as the ability to interface with customers is required. One must posses a practical working knowledge of PC-based information systems (SAP and Microsoft Products). Must have demonstrated success in motivating teams to set, track and accomplish goals. Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles as they relate to business processes is desired (e.g. lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC).
