USAA is currently seeking talented Part Time Customer Service Phone Representative - Seasonal for our San Antonio, TX facility.
Provides member service on existing Auto policies (not requiring licensure) through various channels (e.g. phone, e-mail, fax). Contributes to enterprise business goals through enterprise referrals and relationship building. Uses established procedures to carry out routine work duties. Works under direct supervision.
Acquires and applies knowledge of products, services, and processes associated with auto policy adjustments. Acquires and applies member service techniques.
Recognizes life events and understands member's needs.
Handles basic billing inquiries.
Seeks guidance from team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.
Training Hours
Ability to attend up to 9 weeks of paid structured classroom training beginning as early as October 6th 2014. Training hours 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm Monday - Friday.
Work Schedule
5 day work schedule will vary with a 6 hour shift that will be between the hours of 9am - 4pm Sunday through Saturday to include at least one day per weekend for an approximately 30 hour work week.
30% Shift differential pay (work scheduled: after 6pm, M-F and weekends).
This seasonal position is anticipated to conclude on or around Feb 28th, 2015.
Employment is at will.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One plus years of customer contact experience in sales, military service or call center environment or customer service experience and 30+ semester hours of college credit.
6 months plus experience multi-tasking in a Windows operating system environment.
6 months plus experience frequently communicating (minimum 60%) with customers by phone, email, and/or face to face.
2 years of customer service experience in a relationship building environment.
Contact/Call Center experience.
Experience cross selling or up-selling products.
1 years experience working in a problem resolution/analytical environment.
