An exciting new opportunity exists with Affinity Medical Solutions in Richmond, CA, affiliated with University HealthCare Alliance (UHA), Stanford Hospital & Clinics' new medical foundation. We currently have a Customer Service Representative opportunity available.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for resolving member and physician inquiries and issues related to our HMO administrative processes, to include claims payment, authorization/referral management, and eligibility management. This person must meet established Customer Service department performance benchmarks and effectively manage their workload and prioritize assignments.

Desired Skills & Experience A high school diploma is required. Along with (3) years of customer service experience; possess effective oral and written communication skills; with telephone manners that must be clear, understandable and professional. This person must also be able to exercise good judgment, handle a fast paced environment, and be independent in decision making skills, demonstrating the ability to take the initiative to resolve issues.

Three (3) years in the healthcare industry is preferred.
