Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:
VeriFone is looking for a hard working self-starter in order to meet the expanding demands and anticipated growth of the Taxi organization. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for administrative activities associated with order processing related to the worldwide distribution center. Administratively supports ongoing efforts to insure all exception order processing is confirmed through Oracle from the time of booking and up to confirmed shipment status. Possesses a strong working knowledge of domestic and international supply chain activities in support of ongoing order processing and compliance worldwide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for tactical domestic and international order administration processing for LCN booked orders
  • Reviews and analyses booked orders backlog to balance customer order demand and supply-chain by expediting and priority setting
  • Interacts with Shipping, Services, Procurement, Receiving, and other departments as required
  • Maintains order processing quantity and quality delivery objectives that support LCN order administration goals domestically and internationally
  • Work proactively with Domestic and International Business Partners such as Planning, Compliance and Sales for order administration requirements regarding product roll-out, order processing, specific customer , and shipment requirements ensuring integrity to the LCN supply chain
  • Helps in the creation of tools and communication paths for consistent and ongoing order administration efforts
  • Continuously works to streamline processes for order administration within the DC Model
  • Proactively communicates order processing requirements to VFI internal customers worldwide on behalf of LCN order administration
  • Understands customer needs and ensures order processing meets the requirements of customers (internal and external)
  • Holds a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills that ensure success to the department mission of “turning all booked orders into revenue quickly and efficiently as possible
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain activities
  • 1+ years experience working with an ERP system as well as experience or familiarity within a distribution center setting
  • Confidence in communicating and working across all organizational levels
  • Ability to work in an environment of changing and conflicting priorities.
Skills & Ability:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated negotiation skills and attention to detail required
  • Proficiency in call management
  • Strong planning and organization skills and ability to multitask on a routine basis
  • Skilled in use of PCs and related software
