This position is responsible for addressing all inquiries from prospective students and others about Distance Learning at ODU. Providing accurate information, excellent customer service, and effectively managing processes are vital to this position supporting enrollment growth and planning.
Knowledge of effective customer service techniques when serving diverse customers. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access), email, and web browsers. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated proofreading skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deal with multiple inputs at once. Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain complex rules and regulations.
Knowledge of the Hobsons Constituent Relationship Manager system. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of others. Some experience with a CISCO 2-way communication system. Some experience working in higher education.
May be required to work some evenings.
