We’re currently searching for a Customer Service Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Customer Service Team Leader oversees the daily operations of a team of Customer Service Representatives in a customer service environment to ensure business goals and objectives are met or exceeded. Provides a high level of customer service support with product expertise to offer alternative solutions, where appropriate, with the objective of customer satisfaction. Navigates through the administration systems to provide detailed information regarding escalated or complex customer inquiries and concerns. Communicates with customers in a professional manner via telephone, email, and written documents in response to inquiries about products or services. Provides continual support and training to team to ensure they are able to perform their responsibilities efficiently. Monitors individual rep calls for quality assurance and notifies management if necessary.
Advanced knowledge of company products, services, and systems. Knowledge of medical and/or dental terminology and coding. Intermediate MS Office Word and Excel skills. Excellent communication skills, particularly professional telephone skills and listening skills. Excellent customer service skills. Research and problem solving skills. Training skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail. Customer service skills. Ability to work with confidential information. Typing 35 wpm.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
3 - 5 years experience in customer service environment. Healthcare and/or insurance knowledge
Some college course work and/or secondary training in Insurance Field
LOMA 280/290 certification
ACS (Associate, Customer Service)
Experience in healthcare, dental office, medical provider, insurance, medical terminology, claims processing and/or medical coding
Sales Force and/or CRM tool working knowledge and/or experience is preferred
