CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Reports to : Customer Service Manager
SUMMARY: Full time multi-tasking team member, answers multi-line phones, provides excellent customer service, takes orders, performs data entry, 10-key,filing and other special projects. Prior customer service/ administrative experience a plus. $9.50/hr. + benefits. Clean background required. Hours M-F 7:30 to 4:30.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) PHONE ORDERS
Answers incoming phone calls, records customer account number, company name, address, phone number, person making request, and actual order requested by customer. Also notifies customer when order will be received or ready for pick up if a customer pick up request.
2) DATA ENTRY
Enters all new box information for all accounts, entry of all computerized location changes, assign departments to customer accounts when needed, generates and runs reports as needed.
3) CUSTOMER RELATIONS
INTERNAL: Office personnel, Sales Representatives, Warehouse personnel, and Management Support
EXTERNAL: Customers, Potential New Customers, Vendors and Suppliers
Typing Skills (45-55wpm) with 95-100% accuracy
Customer Service background
Experienced 10 key (by touch)
Ability to work independently (with little or no supervision)
Ability to be flexible, spontaneous, diverse and respond positively to the unexpected
