We have an immediate opening for a Success Manager (CSM) in our Customer Success organization! Our ideal candidate will be an experienced technology strategist with the ability to define a vision and strategy for the customer and guide them from concept to execution, with experience in mobile and/or web being a critical skill set. The Customer Success Manager is responsible for bringing Appcelerator’s best ideas, innovations, and capabilities to customers and driving greater business value. It is the CSM's responsibility to drive customer adoption and success within a defined set of customers. This individual should be comfortable at both consulting with and negotiating with C level executives, backed by a strong understanding of their business objectives. You will guide customers on the best approach for leveraging Appcelerator’s Titanium platform to create mobility solutions for their business, across iOS, Android, Mobile hybrid applications, Windows and Blackberry devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
We're looking for a multi-disciplinary thought leader who can articulate the business vision and technical execution, and lead the customer to building great solutions and products. The CSM must possess a comprehensive understanding of the Appcelerator mobile solutions platform, and guide the customer on business and technical decisions to ensure platform adoption success.

You must be able to:
Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with the customer’s executive sponsors and align Appcelerator to their mobility initiatives

Propose creative mobile solutions to proactively address the customer’s business problems and lead the customer’s transformation towards a “Mobile First” organization

Guide the customer in establishing a Mobile Center of Excellence (MCoE) and guide the customer on mobile program management best practices.

Establish and execute comprehensive mobile strategies, define key business metrics and success criteria and establish a process for monitoring goals in order to provide visibility to executive sponsors

Facilitate best practice usage of Appcelerator solutions within the customer’s organization, and serve as the customer’s advocate back into Appcelerator to ensure that our solutions are evolving to meet our customers needs

Conduct on-going account meetings to communicate best practices, develop plans for expanded functional usage, provide use case examples for leveraging key product functionality and communicate new feature releases

Proactively monitor and report on customer usage and success to internal teams

Create and deliver monthly reports to highlight customers strategic successes and provide ongoing recommendations for further optimization

Provide clear and constructive feedback to Product Management and Engineering based on customer requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
10 years relevant work experience with 5 years experience in a management consulting firm preferred

Possess strong presentation skills and credibility with C-level executives

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with modern software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, etc.

Deep experience in one or more vertical industries

Deep Mobile or Web experience

Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating executive workshops

Proven experience in managing large, complex project implementations

Minimum 2+ years JavaScript coding experience.

Expert HTML and CSS skills.

Experience with source code management techniques using SVN, Mercury or Git.

Working knowledge of release management techniques.

Familiarity with industry standard design patterns for most commonly encountered situations is a must.

Avid follower of the technology industry and current technology trends

Strong personal management, communication, and technical writing skills

Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks, while managing a diverse workload

BA/BS degree

Computer Science degree preferred

Willing to travel
