Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) has an immediate opening in our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters for a Customer Support Call Center Representative.
Our dealers are like family to us and we want to give them the best customer service we can possibly provide. This is where you come in - in this critical role you will be responsible for receiving and responding to customer service inquiries in all available media from Fender domestic dealers, international distributors, and other sources in a professional, patient and courteous manner.
You’ll create and process returns for defective products, mis-ships, order entry errors and packing errors. You’ll research systems and process accountability, create replacement orders for returned products and perform account adjustments (credits and debits) as required for pricing errors, restocking fees, product mis-ships, short ships, order entry errors, packer errors and shipments received without invoices.
Being very detail-oriented will aid in your work on researching and resolving dealer account issues regarding the tracking of shipments, delinquent call tags, returns status, serial numbers, missing parts and accessories, and handle invoice copy requests. You’ll also be required to compose professional, succinct emails in response to dealer and service inquiries.
The fine print requirements include:
- High School Diploma, college courses preferred
-1-2 years retail sales and/or customer service experience
-Excellent telephone and email communication skills
-Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a fast paced environment
-Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
-True team player
- Knowledge of Fender product lines a plus
- SAP experience a plus
