BalancePoint is looking for a talented Customer Support Consultant for one of our valued clients in New York City As customer support consultant you will be responsible for the coordination and documentation of activities and actual support required to resolve complicated incidents which are reported by the technical and functional application manager of a customer The incidents may be related to a reported error or suspicion of a bug in the software by the customer on a functional level Key responsibilities Register reproduce and solve complicated software incidents Analyze the supplied information to provide a clear picture of the bug error or problem involved Determine the probable cause of a the bug error or behavior Set up test surroundings to reproduce the problem Give feedback to the client Work closely together with our RD and testing department Maintain FAQ documentation and knowledge documents for customers Requirements Education Bachelors degree or higher Preferably in Computer Science or a closely related field Minimum of 25 years of experience supporting Enterprise Software applications Excellent skills in working with advanced Windows applications Experience with Oracle and or SQL Server database LDAP and Business Objects Enterprise Excellent verbal and writing skills required for communicating with other IT professionals Experience with incident registration systems and tools like Topdesk Webex A customer oriented attitude
