Olin Corporation Chlor Alkali Products Division has an opening in its Niagara Falls, NY, facility for a Customer Support Manager. The CS Manager will be responsible for supervising the Customer Support Team members and working with customers, plant locations and carriers to maximize on-time deliveries, minimize costs and improve service to the customer.

Responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day activities of the Customer Support Representative teams.

Monitoring and managing customer feedback, including c onducting investigations and determining root causes for customer complaints and near misses. Identifying and implementing corrective actions that prevent recurrence.

Initiating incident investigation and identifying root causes related to Responsible Care objectives.

Working with rail & truck carriers to improve their Responsible Care performance. Monitoring all safety and health program activities for Customer Support Team.

Managing the departmental expense budget.

Participating in Customer and Carrier training programs held at the plant.

Other projects and responsibilities as required for the position.

Monitor Terminal & Bleach plant inventories

Monitor railcar product fleets to protect plant operating rates and for railcar regulatory maintenance

Responsible for accounts receivables for customers managed by all teams and days sales outstanding

Minimum requirements include:
BS degree* in Business, Logistics/Transportation, Marketing or a related field required.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management role; preferably in the chemical industry.

Must have or be able to obtain a passport for occasional travel to Canada.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Strong leadership, supervisory, and problem-solving skills are a must.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with employees, customers and carriers are required.

The ideal candidate will have be self motivated, have the ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills and the ability to effectively manage time are required.

Preference given to candidates with experience in manufacturing, distribution, or chemical plant environments.

Knowledge of US regulations for rail and truck shipments is preferred.

Ability to comply with DOT training is required.

Membership in the International Customer Service Organization, Chemical Customer Service Management Group is a plus.
