The primary responsibility of the Purchase to Pay Customer Support Representative (PTP CSR) is to provide exceptional customer service and to internal customers (Clinic and Department Managers) submitting inquiries and requests through the A/P phone hotline and Hanger Direct e-mail. The PTP CSR will also be responsible for the Hanger Direct system support, serve as a back-up role for Vendor account maintenance, including set up and termination, liaising with Hanger’s procurement services provider and expense reporting service provider, and updating user access to Hanger’s various systems.

  • Maintain hierarchy, user data, and chart of accounts in ExpenseWire and Hanger Direct with management supervision
  • Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries and requests in Hanger Direct or escalate as necessary
  • Process user change requests for Catalyst, ExpenseWire, and Hanger Direct
  • Work ultimate approver queue resolving orphaned users and forward to appropriate approvers as necessary
  • Provide adhoc reporting as necessary
  • Serve as a back-up for new vendor setups and reviews
  • Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement

  • AA degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in a customer service, accounts payable, or procurement support position
  • Demonstrated well developed conversation and listening skills
  • Ability to establish rapport with customers to build strong positive professional relationships
  • Ability to deal with customers in a positive and professional manner, including handling frustrated or irate customers in a way that brings the interaction to a positive conclusion
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated skill in multi-tasking, listening, inputting data, probing, providing solutions, navigating through screens in an application while ensuring a high level of positive and professional communication with the customer.
  • Strong PC skills with working knowledge Windows and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
