Customer Support Representative Job Description
Reporting to the Support Operations Manager, the Customer Support Position has the following responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting with end-users to resolve connection issues.
- Provide superior customer service to all callers.
- Documenting and tracking all troubleshooting completed within the ticketing system.
- Recognize and escalating larger network issues.
Ideal candidates will possess the following core competencies: strong verbal and written communication skills, multitasking capability, self starter, customer oriented team player, past experience working proficiently with: DHCP, TCP/IP, SNMP, VPN, LAN/WAN, Linux, Mac, Windows Operating Systems: XP, Vista, 07.
This position requires a highly-motivated individual willing to work as part of a team in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times is expected. A proven track record of punctual and consistent attendance must be provided. Flexibility in scheduling a must; evenings and weekends required.
