Serve as an expert and answer scientific or technical questions on data provided to customers. Address questions related to sample preparation, designing experiments, data format, annotation, and data manipulation as they apply to customer's specific scientific goals. Conduct scientific/technical training. Work with partners including those developing bioinformatics software for use with Complete Genomics data. Advise customers and strategic partners on the use of software tools, workflows, and quality control criteria for utilizing Complete Genomics data for various scientific purposes. Participate in authoring documentation, training and support materials. Populate knowledgebase with technical knowledge and solutions. Provide scientific and technical input into product specifications, design, and testing of tools and features. Keep abreast of community technical and scientific knowledge related to genomics and human genome sequencing and specifically the next generation sequencing technologies and current methods and results for analyzing sequence and structural variation in both human genetics and in cancer genome biology. Utilize graduate-level research/analysis skills.


Master’s degree in Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Genomics or related technical field and 24 months of work experience in job offered or 24 months of work experience in Bioinformatics, Genomics or Genetics-related occupation.
