Support the front office and entire Facilities Management operation by providing professional and courteous assistance to all customers, managing the key request process, ensuring information is quickly and accurately disseminated, supplies and equipment are kept in a ready state and by supporting the logistics needs of Facilities' employees.

Position is designated "essential personnel" for emergency closings.

Minimum Qualifications

Effective oral and written communication skills. Good keyboarding skills and knowledge of PC-based software such as the Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to nagivate the Internet. Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments in a timely fashion while multi-tasking. Demonstrated effective organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, and to interpret and follow established policies and procedures, and use sound judgment to make appropriate decisions. Demonstrated knowledge of standard office procedures and filing skills. Strong public relations and customer service skills. The ability to work well with diverse groups of people.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in making travel arrangements and handling payroll transactions in a large and dynamic operations environment. College degree or college coursework.

Special Requirements

Monday - Friday, 1 hour for lunch. Facilities Management employees are considered essential personnel and subject to working during University closings.
