The Cvent Registration Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the business development and fulfillment of meeting and event program registration solutions through Cvent. This position will provide transitional expertise as Aimia migrates from an internal proprietary tool to the Cvent Event Management System.

  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Cvent related activities
  • Oversees and supports the onboarding of the Cvent application within the Aimia environment
  • Serve as central point of contact for all Cvent related questions pertaining to all modules within the tool
  • Assists in developing consistent processes and actively participate in best practice discussions to drive for continuous improvement and efficiencies from an overall tool usage standpoint
  • Manage updates and communication with registration qualification forms and Cvent templates
  • Maintains Cvent issue/resolution log and open dialog with Cvent project manager
  • Manage and communicate Cvent enhancements as they become available
  • Partners on qualification and owns fulfillment of meeting and event registration needs of assigned programs
  • Consults with appropriate stakeholders in an effort to deliver an optimal registration solution based upon audience, budget, timeline, registration complexity
  • Gathers and documents business requirements (non-technical requirements) which includes maintaining historical documentation of assigned programs
  • Performs User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Cvent technology products and platforms
  • Partner with leadership to identify, recommend and prioritize Cvent technology product enhancements
  • Drive for continuous improvement through analysis of business processes and deliverables
  • Project manage the creation and maintenance of custom client websites (including HTML)
  • Participate in proposal development and presentations as needed on assigned programs
  • Becomes familiar with the assigned client accounts to understand their priorities, critical functions and key contacts
  • Create and manage timeline and budget for registration solution of assigned programs
  • Trouble shoot throughout meeting event lifecycle to ensure change management process occurs
  • Assists with client demonstrations show casing our technical functionalities
  • Ownership of program data setup and change management as it relates to Cvent and website builds
  • Brief Customer Service and Attendee Data team on solution elements/process/budget and timeline
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Cvent certification
  • 5+ years of operational business experience using the Cvent technology
