The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology-Liver is seeking a full time Data Processsing Control Specialist.
This position is responsible for clinical trial data coordination, entry and management associated with the Centralized Chart Data Abstraction of HCV - TARGET in the section of Hepatology. The incumbent will function as part of research team that includes the principal investigator, sub-investigators, and clinical research staff to perform research-related activities associated with our clinical trials. The position will work under the direct supervision of the HCV - TARGET liver research clinical manager or their designee to complete duties as assigned. Primary responsibility is for organization and coordination of over 50 HCV - TARGET centers data that is received for chart data abstraction centrally. Additionally, the employee will assist the research coordinators in all duties related to clinical trial source data collection and entry needs as well as act as support for clinical trial and HCV - TARGET patient lab sample collection and processing. The position will comply with all safety and regulatory requirements to assure the safe and proper functioning of the laboratory.
A high school diploma and three years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
A high school diploma and relevant experience.
Significant clinical trial data entry experience.
Experience with multiple databases ( INFORM , RAVE , TAO , etc)
Clinical trial data audit experience
Prefer experience with HCV and/or GI studies
