As a DDM Pod Manager, you will manage a team who leads and executes consultations and projects supporting these clients who use DoubleClick’s advertising products, including, but not limited to, DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM), and DoubleClick Search (DS). As a people manager within the Media & Technology Solutions (MTS) team, your team is comprised of savvy Platform Solutions Consultants who service our most strategic advertiser clients across multiple products (DCM, DBM, DS).
You will require adept people and client management as well as technical skills in this role. You and your team will work closely with a list of clients to consult them on using our products in the most effective and beneficial way. In addition to serving as an escalation point for your team and tracking your team’s performance metrics, you will work hand-in-hand with your Sales counterparts to assist promoting product usage and identifying upselling opportunities for your book of business. While developing strategies to increase efficiency and improve service performance for your team, you will in parallel partner with Product Management and Engineering to improve the DDM platform as a whole.
Manage and motivate your team of Platform Solutions Consultants to provide high-touch, solutions-oriented service for Google’s largest Agency and Advertiser clients; partner with and motivate your team to drive product and feature adoption to maximize your clients’ success with our products.
Support and develop meaningful relationships with cross-functional teams and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (Account Management, Support, Sales, Engineering, and Product Management).
Analyse data, trends and team performance to drive ongoing service improvements and projects.
Manage client escalations (serving as final escalation point), engaging necessary resources and drive resolution.
Partner tightly with Sales to promote revenue with your book of business as well as work with Product Management and Engineering to provide client feedback for our products.
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
4 years experience managing people or demonstrated strong aptitude for people management.
3 years of client facing experience, demonstrated creative problem-solving approach, demonstrated technical aptitude and strong analytical skills with proven results.
3 years experience working Online Advertising, Media Planning or Marketing role preferred, ideally with DoubleClick products or other ad server (such as Atlas, Vindico, or Mediamind).
Ability to handle fast-paced environments with effective time-management, prioritization as well as excellent communication skills.
