The Director for Special Projects in the College of Human Ecology. This position is crucial to the college. This position provides research assistance to the college. Tracks all the space in the college, advocates for new space and works closely with the Campus Space and Planning Office. This position also coordinates and works closely with facilities services coordinating renovations that take place in the rivers building. This position is also responsible for inventory control of all equipment, furniture and other inventoried items. The position generates various reports, FAEIS, External Activities, Conflict of Interest and accreditation data. This position works closely with the Dean in regards to PowerPoint presentations, gathering information for the dean, reviews and surveys, and resources needed for the dean to present. In addition this position is the college administrator for SEDONA, the University-wide data base that will be used to (1) produce all faculty annual reports, (2) provide the basis for annual evaluations for all faculty in the College, (3) produce all the various faculty credentialing reports that will be required for SACS accreditation, and (4) produce information for Personnel, Tenure and/or Promotion Committees to write (in consultation with the unit administrator) progress toward tenure letters for all tenure-track faculty in the College. In addition, this position is responsible for managing college scholarships as well as the award process to the students. This position is responsible for researching data and producing in-depth spreadsheets such as the Workload Analysis. This position also manages the colleges course schedule in banner. This position works closely with the chairs of the units to adhere to scheduling policies that are set by the university.

Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree is required. The position requires strong communication skills, including written, oral, and listening skills; outstanding computer skills are expected, including word processing, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills; professional experience is expected.
