Job Title: Commercial Service Dispatch/Call-taker
Direct Report: Commercial Service Dispatch Manager
Job Description: Be part of a front-line team answering phone calls from customers and technicians. Determine the customer?s needs, delegate calls to Technical Communicators or arrange for technician to be dispatched. Assist technicians in scheduling their day, opening work orders, ordering parts, and assist technicians in controlling parts inventory on service trucks. Interact with facility service staff on a daily basis to provide an optimal level of support and communication. Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with other team members.
Duties and Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)
? Ensure that all calls for repair and maintenance are handled in a timely fashion.
? Maintain open communication between the retail store and the vendor, technicians, or in house mechanics on the estimated time of arrival on priority repair issues.
? Previous work experience in: call center, customer service, grocery industry, facilities management preferred.
? Candidate must be available to work flexible or unusual hours as needed, including weekends.
? Must be able to work with minimum supervision and possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Candidate should possess good oral and written communications skills, both with co-workers and over the telephone with outside and company associates.
? Position requires use of calculators, personal computers, telephones and other office equipment.
