ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
In this position, you will be Responsible for scanning the equipment in/out of the trucks and perform daily inventory of the trucks and weekly/monthly inventory of the warehouse. Clean, test and repair durable medical equipment (DME) and respiratory equipment and arrange outside repairs, keeping records and maintaining daily activity logs of every single item.
Loads and unloads trucks with medical equipment
Performs daily and monthly inventory.
Cleans, tests and repairs equipment keeping records of every single item.
Maintains clean patient areas and ensures that equipment gets scanned into each location.
Ensures that the equipment is clean, tagged, bagged, disinfected and in perfect functional conditions to serve our patients.
Answers warehouse calls and questions from patients and other departments.
Assists our patients professionally in any of their needs.
Assembles and make sure equipment is ready to go to our patients.
Fills oxygen cylinders and stationaries following procedures and safety standards.
Assists in maintaining Warehouse according to OSHA, State and Accreditation Standards.
Complies with infection control policies and safety standards of the company, OSHA and Accreditation Standards.
Complies with Warehouse and Dispatch policies and procedures.
Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent.
Basic knowledge of DME equipment is desirable.
Motivated and able to function independently.
Manage time effectively to accomplish the daily activities.
Be able to communicate well with patients and other members of the company as needed.
Must be flexible with work scheduled.
Dependable in attendance and job performance.
Required to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures. Supports and participates in the mandatory Corporate Compliance Program training initiative on an annual or more frequent basis, as required
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
