The gig:
We are actively growing our DMP Account Management team in San Francisco/Cupertino or Seattle.

The DMP Account Manager (AM) is responsible for driving customer success and adoption within a defined set of customers, focusing on the Fortune 100.

The DMP AM role is key to our client retention and account development in our rapidly growing customer base. As the expert on customer goals, customer operations, and BlueKai capabilities, the DMP AM applies this expertise to guide the customer on best practices and drive adoption throughout the life of the customer relationship.

This individual should be comfortable consulting and influencing customers, up to the executive level, backed by an understanding of the customer’s business objectives and the capabilities of the BlueKai DMP.

Success in the role is measured by the amount of value and benefits BlueKai customers derive from the solution as measured by customer satisfaction, adoption of the DMP, and ultimately renewal.

Additionally, key to this role is the ability to articulate the value of data activation and of an enterprise platform to manage data for marketing. Your clients will rely on you to guide them as they learn to create targeted audiences based on a combination of in-depth first-party and third-party audience data, accurately target campaigns to these audiences across third-party ad networks and exchanges, and measure which campaigns performed the best across segments and channels to refine media buys and ad creative over time. Further, you will advise and help implement segments across other point solutions within, and not limited to, Mobile, Onsite Optimization, Social, etc.

You will also work with the most prominent ad agencies, ad networks, portals, publishers, demand side platforms (DSPs), ad exchanges, data modelers, and other 3rd party marketing platforms to drive data activation for our DMP partners.

Your work will have a substantial impact on BlueKai’s success. You will have a high degree of freedom to independently drive internal and external projects and will be encouraged to leverage your previous experience and intellect to support and expand upon BlueKai’s vision and ability to execute.

You will have a high level of support and interaction with BlueKai’s high performing team members across all departments including the Executive Team, Engineering, Data Sciences, Data Classification, Solutions Engineering & Consulting, Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development.


Contribute to and execute comprehensive data driven marketing strategies

Define key business metrics and success criteria and establish a process for monitoring goals in order to provide visibility to executive sponsors

Work with customer to create data-driven marketing KPIs and lead customer to a strategy that will ensure they achieve their goals

Provide expertise on the DMP and highlight key features and functionality allowing the customer to execute their data-driven marketing strategies

Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer sponsors such that all BlueKai actions are closely aligned with the customer’s business goals and strategy, allowing the full potential of their BlueKai solution to be realized.

Conduct ongoing account meetings to communicate best practices

Drive usage and adoption of the BlueKai DMP in a directive manner through; ongoing usage reviews and account performance planning, engagement with multiple levels/teams within the customer organization, establishment of best practices and development of end-user outreach initiatives

Contribute thought leadership and best practices, both internally and externally, around data activation

Proactively monitor and report on customer usage and success to internal teams

Stay informed of data-driven marketing news, emerging technologies and competitor offerings

Participation in marketing and industry events

4-year undergraduate degree

At least 3 years work experience with at least 2-4 years in the online media industry required. Level within team is commensurate with experience.
