Description

Northrop Grumman’s Distributed Mission Training (DMT) team in Orlando, Florida is seeking a candidate to perform engineering efforts leading to the successful development and integration of systems in support of the program.

The selected candidate will work to synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system solutions within technical, schedule and cost constraints. The candidate will support the development and execution of comprehensive plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems integration. Reviews and evaluation of requirements to insure completeness will be conducted by the selected candidate. Engineering support will be provided for systems in all phases of implementation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
·

Able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

·

Conduct Systems Engineering within defined processes and best practices.

·

Application of Configuration Management principles.

·

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.

·

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·

Strong interpersonal skills.

·

Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
·

Current DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.

·

Master’s degree candidate in Systems Engineering or related field.

·

Modeling and simulation systems experience.

·

Understanding of distributed simulation protocols (e.g. DIS, HLA).
