Northeast Parent & Child Society, one of New York State’s most innovative human service agencies, invites application for a full-time Bus Driver I.
Responsibilities for the Bus Driver I position include, but not be limited to, the following: Providing the safe transportation of students on board NPCS buses; following all safety rules, transportation laws and regulations; maintaining the cleanliness of the bus; reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs for repair; assisting in other Support Services departments as needed; performing other job related duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; ability to pass yearly DOT physical; Must have clean and valid NYS driver’s license; CDL "C" preferred, but will train for license. Must be 21 and be able to pass a drug/alcohol screen. School bus driving experience a plus.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm.
