The Emerging Opportunities Team within Delta Division of Raytheon BBN Technologies is looking for SW engineer with experience developing real time signal processing systems. The team's charter is to identify technologies within the research business units at BBN and create new products from them. Successful candidates will be goal-oriented, work well with small teams, and enjoy solving challenging problems. Ideal candidates should have experience working in a startup or a fast paced environment. The ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with others, a willingness to learn, a sense of curiosity, and creativity are essential.

We are looking for engineers who have been exposed to a variety of signal processing applications, sensor systems, and sensor modalities and have the ability to solve sensing and signal processing problems. Qualified candidates should have experience working with Matlab as well as programming experience coding C applications for Linux microprocessors and various DSP.

Experience with acquisition and analysis of very large data sets is highly desired. Matlab embedded coder skills are also a plus. Familiarity with technology like geo mapping and TCP/IP networks are also desirable. The candidate should be familiar with and willing to follow SW development practices like source control, peer code reviews, and agile development.

The candidate should have an BS/BA degree in EE or similar as well as 3-6 years of work experience.

The candidate must also meet requirements to work on International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant products as well as the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
