The Damage Prevention Coordinator will
provide effective leadership and coordination of NorthWestern Energy's damage prevention
efforts. These efforts are designed to
manage third party damage to the electric and gas infrastructure, including
investigation, reporting, educating and interfacing with third parties working
in proximity to our facilities.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

All

Ensure

Coordinate
Damage Prevention (DP) efforts within NorthWestern Energy

·
Coordinate
with Transmission and Distribution organization on DP Efforts

·
Develop
industry standard metrics for NorthWestern Energy's operational units

·
Work
on regulatory and legislative issues in connection with DP

·
Develop
implementation strategies for the components of the DP plan

·
Have
responsibility for development of annual
DP budget

·
Responsible
for supervision of internal DP staff

·
Authority
and accountability for external DP contractors

·
Develop
short and long range planning necessary for DP plan implementation

·
Coordinate
DP efforts associated with GTS IMP and GDS DIMP Damage Prevention

·
Have
responsibility for development of strategic external staffing

·
Coordinate
DP efforts with required FERC and NESC requirements

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

·
Must
be able to demonstrate a good safety record

·
Must
possess strong interpersonal communication skills

·
Bachelor’s
degree in Business or technical degree is preferred

·
Must
have experience in electric/gas utility operations

·
Demonstrated solid computer skills (MS
Office, SAP, etc)

·
Strong organizational and analytical
skills

·
Must have strong oral communication
and presentation skills

·
Possess the ability to interact and
build relationships with employees at all levels

·
Travel and extended hours will be
required
