We are currently seeking a Data Activations Engineer to perform provisioning tasks on our Internet, VoIP, MPLS, Point to Point, Managed Services and Frame Relay platforms.
Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Provision customer specific configurations on Edge Routers for new Internet, VoIP, MPLS, EFM and Managed Services
Manage, administrate, and take appropriate actions on IP requests per IP allocation policies
DNS setup and administration for all customer domain names with associated zone files
Stage CPE Cisco router configurations for installation by Field Technicians or vendors
Direct Field Technicians or vendors at customer premises for installation of all data and voice services
Network monitoring setup and administration of all applicable data services on Broadview Network's platform
Qualified individuals should possess at least 2-3 years Wide Area Networking (WAN) experience
CCNA highly preferred
Solid background in TCP/IP and DNS
Prior Cisco and/or Telecommunications background is preferred
