The Legal, Compliance & Control Technology (LCCT) organization is experiencing significant growth as existing applications are being significantly enhanced or rebuilt. We are seeking a Data Analyst who wants to join a fast-paced, high-energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the data needs of the firms AML program. Additional responsibilities include:

Identify data sources and perform analysis of the quality of the data required to fulfill the AML monitoring and investigations needs.

Coordinate with source systems to obtain data, create interface specifications, document metadata.

Partner closely with the business to analyze data across multiple platforms to create a single data warehouse for AML data.

Translate business requirements to conceptual data model specifications, data flow diagrams and E-R diagrams.

Ensure that the data dictionary is actively maintained.

Activities will range from database object design, development, ETL, aggregations and SQL optimization.


5+ years experience in performing data modeling studies and developing conceptual and logical data models

Proven ability to perform good data analysis

Translating business requirements into conceptual and logical models

Must be able to recognize and identify patterns in data relationships from disparate systems.

Strong experience in transforming business requirements into conceptual and logical models

Experience with database platforms like Oracle, Teradata, and MS SQL

ETL concepts and data quality controls

Experience writing interface specifications

Unix shell scripts skills in order to perform data manipulation

Implementing quality guidelines, standards, and procedures

Proven ability to successfully manage relationships between multiple clients and prioritizing their needs while maintaining the overall health of the systems

Proven ability managing the issue resolution process for any application production problems

Experience with financial data models

College degree or specialized training / equivalent work experience
