The Technology Development Practice is currently hiring Data Analytics Senior Associates to be based out of our Menlo Park, CA headquarters. This position requires innovative hands-on problem solvers who can rapidly analyze, develop, and prototype algorithms for classification and anomaly detection, time series analysis, knowledge discovery, image processing, and network analysis. Training and coursework in cyber security is a plus.
This job will require multidisciplinary teamwork with personnel located in our Natick, MA; Alexandria, VA; Phoenix, AZ; and Menlo Park, CA offices as well as others who are stationed overseas.
Qualifications for this position include:
Ph.D. in Statistics or a related engineering/scientific field (Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology)
Demonstrated experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Demonstrated advanced programming skills in C/C++/Java to enable high performance, scalable statistical computation
Proficiency with standard statistical packages (e.g., R)
Proven track record of accomplishments and expertise across a range of applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
Our contracts with the United States Government for this position require proof of U.S. citizenship and the possession of or ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance
