Position Description and Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the data architecture support from understanding and evaluation of customer requirement to development of advanced data architectures. The Data Architect will need to keep current on industry direction, trends, and future capabilities with respect to data management and architecture. The successful candidate will provide expertise for support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications, with respect to data architecture. The candidate will direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection. The Data Architect will work with the Project Manager and the Architect to ensure project deliverables is being met to customer expectations.
Minimum Level of Education: B.S.in Computer Science or other related discipline plus 10 years experience
- Have built conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Can decompose and package data elements and their attributes in an optimized fashion (i.e., shared data repositories)
- Have familiarity with cyber security data entities or at a minimum network data elements
- Can work with SETA to provide feedback to their data models
- Have implemented data models into operational systems/enterprises
- Can work with development teams to implement data models, independent of platform
