Provide the necessary data reporting skills to the Plant to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity and delivery to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities.
Calculate and summarize production downtime for each line in each area on all shifts by reason code.
Calculate and verify production run time for all lines in each area on all shifts.
Track good parts and scrap parts, consolidate reporting, determine the materials used and enter information into the QAD system.
Enter reported downtime into the QAD system.
Cross reference job numbers and quantities against the daily production schedule on an as needed basis.
Complete the “Production Summary Report” and issue copies to the department managers and supervisors for review and discussion at the daily production meeting.
Interface with the Production Supervisors, materials scheduling and finance department to assure accurate production reporting.
Run and maintain records of the “Daily Production Verification Report” to assure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
Responsible for providing requested reports based on production information.
Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality registration (ex. TS 16949, ISO 14001, Pentastar, etc.)
Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).
Responsible for adhering to all internal and OSHA required safety procedures in performing daily work activities.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ex. Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook, Level II Procedures etc.)
Reports directly to the Operations Manager. Interfaces on a frequent basis with Production and/or Press Supervisors, Purchasing and Quality. Also, interfaces on an as needed basis with Human Resources, Finance, IT, Tool and Die.
Provides model behavior to demonstrate corporate values.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Zero to three (3) years experience with data entry work.
Advanced knowledge of QAD system.
Vast knowledge of Microsoft ACCESS and reporting tools.
Knowledge of scheduling techniques.
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Duties include but are not limited to: stand, walk, twist, bend, lift, see, talk and hear. Ability to travel. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration and hazardous materials.
