A Data Integration Specialist should be experienced and possess extensive training and/or work experience in software development. The candidate must be able to work independently and interface directly with technical representatives of customer organizations. The ability to complete a software development project through requirements elicitation, design, and implementation is a must. Use of modern software development tools (Eclipse, Subversion, etc...) is required. The candidate should also possess strong XML, XSLT, and SQL skills.
Familiarity with the N-DEx program, the Global Justice XML Data Model (GJXDM), and the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) is desired. This position provides high-level support and guidance to Government Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) who are mapping their Record Management Systems (RMSs) to the current Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD).
Deciphering database structures and agency-specific terminology
Working independently under general direction
Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
Java Programming experience (intermediate or greater)
SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
Oracle and MS SQL Server
Ability to secure a Secret clearance or already hold a clearance
