The Data Integration Engineer supports all file loading process of the company’s external business. This position has a primary responsibility for loading Viverae inbound files using an automated process. The Data Integration Engineer will be responsible for creating maps using Pervasive Software and validating data loaded into the system. The candidate should be able to manage multiple requests and handle multiple tasks with competing priority.

Responsibilities:
Build new client maps for file loads using Pervasive software.
Load and validate inbound client files to the system using an automated process.
Demonstrate self-reliance in researching technical solutions and product functionality
Continuously improve upon existing approaches by seeking opportunity to creatively transform current business practices into fresh alternative solutions
Identify solutions to critical integration issues and develop corrective solutions
Communicate with team members to assess progress of deliverables
Create and maintain ETL documentation
Other duties as assigned
Review and provide analysis all inbound files and outbound files based on our specs.
Read and debug scripts in SQL environments using complex SQL Queries.
Monitor ALL Daily jobs which run in Automatic process and provide statistics at end of the day.
Enforce technical standards including data integrity, normalization, database maintenance, standardization, and data quality.
Coordinate timeline and activities for multiple projects.
Complete ad-hoc data projects as assigned.
Troubleshoot and analyze data to ensure information is accurate and reconcilable to its source of origin.

Qualifications:
4 years Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
3 or more years of experience with strong SQL programming skills (required); MySQL experience (desired)
2-3 years of experience with an ETL tool; Pervsaive (preferred)
Advanced capabilities with mysql or similar analytical toolset (preferred)
Strong communication (verbal and written), debugging, trouble shooting skills, time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient technical skills to include (SQL DDL and DML, ETL methodologies, TOAD, Perforce, MySQL, Database Schemas)
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to allocate time efficiently; handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
Ability to thrive under production pressure and deadlines.
