Job Description:
The position is responsible for design, development and maintenance of Data Integration/ETL processes in Enterprise Business Intelligence environment. Also responsible for assisting data architects by performing data modeling tasks in enterprise databases.

Responsibilities include:

Design, development and maintenance of data integration/ETL processes
• Work with data architects, tech lead and database administrators to design the ETL processes.
• Design, develop and test the ETL views
• Design, develop and test the data integration code using the ETL platform
Design, development and maintenance of data models
• Under the guidance of data architects, design data models to meet the requirements of various projects and releases (both BI and non-BI)
• Maintain the various versions of the data models using CVS branching mechanism
Production Support of data integration/ETL processes
• Production deployment of data integration/ETL code
• Analysis and debugging of the production deployments
Job Requirements:
• Education
Bachelor’s Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (with Computer Science focus)
• Data Integration/Database Application Development Experience (2 – 4 years)
Experience with ETL tools like Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica or Data Stage
Experience in data integration using data bridges or other custom approaches
Application development that leverages DBMSs such as Oracle
Experience in data analysis
• Software Development Experience (2 - 3 years)
Software development experience in large projects.
Experience with the design and tuning of complex SQL statements
• Other desirable skills
Experience in data modeling using tools like ERWin/ERStudio
Production Support experience in enterprise class applications

• Communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
