Under direct supervision the incumbent is responsible for performing all duties necessary to maintain the integrity of the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) data for the North State Service Area ( NSSA) in accordance with established policies and procedure.
A minimum of 1 - 2 years experience with the maintenance of a master patient index ( MPI ).
Experience with Windows based spreadsheet, database and word processing computer programs.
HIM experience within acute care
Knowledge of medical record numbers/maintenance
We prefer candidate with an Associates Degree in a related field.
