The Department of Surgery is in need of a Database Manager. The Database Manager will maintain patient databases, oversee data collection and processing, and analyze data on a regular basis. Specifically, will become familiar with the clinical trial by interacting with sponsors and Principal Investigator. Additionally, will assist with pathology samples as necessary. Minimum Field of Expertise:
Working knowledge of database, spreadsheet, wordprocessing and statistical software programs in mainframe and personal computer environments; research & statistics.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences or health related field National professional clinical research certification is preferred. (e.g. SoCRA, ACRP)
2 years of work experience in data management of clinical databases
Preferred Field of Expertise:
Programming experience in customizing applications software Knowledge and understanding of medical terms and proficiency with various medical assessment criteria (i.e. RECIST, ECOG, CTCAE)
