Applicant must currently hold Oneida County Civil Service Data Processing Clerk title, or be eligible for appointment from Oneida County Civil Service list, or meet requirements for provisional appointment:
Graduation from a regionally accredited
or New York State registered college or
university with an Associate’s Degree,
including or supplemented by six (6)
semester credit hours in the fields of
computer science, computer technology, data
processing or a closely related field;
Graduation from high school or possession
of a high school equivalency diploma
two (2) years of clerical experience;
one (1) year of which shall have included
data processing experience;
Four (4) years of clerical experience;
two (2) years of which shall have included data
processing experience.

Enters new student applications and updates student records as needed. Prepares correspondance to communicate with prospective students. Scans and indexs documents into Onbase system. Generates reports using student data entered into the Banner system.
