General Purpose:
To ensure the most effective integration solutions, competitive intelligence, and RFP knowledge assets are leveraged by our sales partners to address our customer"s needs while maximizing their satisfaction with D&B.

This position is responsible for working in partnership with the major NA sales channels (Strategic, Commercial, Small Business) in a team based selling model during the pre-sale phases of the sales life cycle: including pre-sales qualification, identification of business drivers and solution requirements, and presentation of integration solutions, products and services.

Solution Consultation Services (40%) - As a product expert, partner with Sales Specialists and/or Segment Reps. to understand the customer"s business and technical requirements in order to recommend the appropriate technical solutions employing D&B"s Data as a Service product offerings. This includes articulating the project's high-level goals and constraints, clarifying scope, establishing clear roles and responsibilities among the project team, and ensuring project risk is initially assessed and mitigation plans completed as appropriate. Lead process of aggregating functional specifications for the project. Assist customer with proof of concepts and implementation
Technical Product Support (40%) - work with sales Specialists to provide 'expert level' product support on specific Risk, Supplier, and Sales & Marketing integration products and services
Technical Product Training Support (10%) - as content experts, partner with the training team to provide technical product training to sales teams in order to enable the Sales Specialists and/or Segment Reps. to better support their customers and partners with appropriate product and service knowledge
Customer Account Planning Support (5%) - provide integration product guidance into customer account planning for selected accounts in the Strategic, and Commercial channels. Pre-Sales Support team members will be incorporated into the sale planning activities and provide technical oversight in addressing the needs identified by sales teams

Other responsibilities include:
Possess a deep technical understanding of D&B"s web services products and to guide the team and participate directly, when necessary, in selected sales opportunities
Help to ensure that Total Sales goals for web services producs are realized by achieving highest levels of technical sales support and customer satisfaction
Continual evaluation of technical and customer-facing skills
Inform, mentor and train technical colleagues, customers, and partners in order to improve technical proficiency in the field
Embrace, demonstrate and proliferate the company"s core values
Up to 70% travel

Skill-Based Competencies:
Must have previous experience in a technical Product Management Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering environment for large Fortune 1000 customers
Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong management and presentation skills, and strong problem solving skills with the ability to lead through others
Must be an excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to present technical solutions in-depth while connecting the solution to the business value and proposition
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects of various complexities and varying stages ensuring timely completion of deliverables
Must have a passion for customer satisfaction

Must demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter and generalist - the ability to take a customer need from concept to solution
Minimum of ten plus years of experience, including a combination of management in a high profile business environment, consulting and program management experience, including complex information systems analysis, design, development and implementation

Bachelor"s degree is required, MBA highly desirable

Technical Skills:
Experience and understanding of:
Large scale databases and or client systems a plus. Must have knowledge of one of the following: MongoDB, Cassandra, HPCC and/or Hadoop
A working knowledge of industry standard databases like Oracle, SAP, MySQL
A working knowledge of industry standard middleware like WebServices 2.0, APIs, Force, etc.
Advanced knowledge of REST
A working knowledge of industry standard software as a service platforms like SFDC, Oracle, Dynamics, SAP and NetSuiteMust know SoapUI and cURL
Must know one of the following cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon EC2, VMWare
Must know one or more of the following ETL platforms: Talend, Pervasive, Boomi, Informatica
Must know the LAMPP technology stack
Advanced knowledge of Perl, Python, PHP and JavaScript
