Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
Use query techniques and available tools, against our operational and enterprise data warehouse system, to identify and analyze data quality issues. Work effectively with all support areas within IT. Use non-traditional/creative approaches to problem-solving. Document current and proposed business processes and associated workflows Communicate status, timelines, delays, and obstacles to management appropriately. Recommend enhancements to improve data quality and accuracy across the organization including proposing standard operating procedures to management. Clearly and logically document all analysis steps and discoveries. Define, design, and implement a data quality strategy. Build and use processes for monitoring data quality goals based on the business and IT standards. Work with business stakeholders regarding identification techniques, documentation, and resolution of data quality issues Testing and validation of extraction processes for quality, consistency, and accuracy. Document the data quality testing processes and review with the appropriate Marketing, Operations, and IT teams.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Data quality assessment skills and query performance tuning. Operating platforms. Metadata management. Experience developing and implementing data quality metrics and thresholds. Experience in establishing methodologies and procedures based on industry best practices. Experience in logical and physical database design and modeling. Ability to build, follow, and interpret use case scenarios. Conceptual and analytic skills. Knowledge of business domain. Translate business questions and requirements into reports and views. Knowledge of BI tool architectures, functions, and features. Understand SQL and relational and multi-dimensional designs. Understand and comply with all appropriate regulations. Adheres to the companys status quo third party representation philosophy, complies with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements. Understands and utilizes all appropriate tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, etc.
Required Education and Work Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology, which can include Application Development, Project Management, etc. Work experience in related Gaming Industry can qualify toward experience. Ability to assume responsibility for independent/self-directed action. Preferred experience with specific applications that would be supported by this position. Bachelors Degree Preferred.
